Established in 1997. Offers Sanger DNA sequencing using a 3500XL Genetic Analyzer. The Core provides Illumina NextSeq 2000 and offers Next Generation Sequencing Services. Main NGS services are Single-cell gene expression, Whole genome sequencing, shotgun metagenomics, total RNA sequencing and Infectious disease research

Genomic – sizing and integrity analysis of genomic DNA – gives DNA Integrity Number (DIN)

RNA – sizing and integrity analysis of total RNA – gives RNA Integrity Number (RIN)

RNA – sizing of messenger RNA
